Winter presents a variety of fashion dilemmas. Boots

Boots are the best option for winter footwear. Leather boots that come to the ankle, calf, knee or thigh provide warmth yet high fashion. Suede boots are a casual alternative to this. Clothing

Coats are a winter necessity. Short or hip-length coats are the most popular look and give the impression of longer legs. A neutral colored wool button-down coat will match with the majority of any woman’s wardrobe. It will provide warmth and a chic look. Coats or muffs made of faux fur are an excellent accessory to a sophisticated evening look. Brightly colored raincoats can give a needed splash of vibrancy to a gloomy, rainy day.

Leggings and tights are some of the trendiest bottoms for the winter. They are surprisingly warm while lending glamorous style to a skirt, dress or tunic. They come in a multitude of colors and designs as well as in a variety of lengths. One popular twist on the traditional look is torn or purposefully damaged tights. Determining your eyeglass size is especially important when you are considering order glasses online. Fortunately, it’s simple to do, if you have a pair of eyeglasses or sunglasses which currently do fit you well. This article is an instructional on how to quickly and easily measure your eyeglass size.

First of all, you will need a small ruler, a flat surface, and a pair of glasses. Place the glasses on the flat surface–a desk or countertop works well–and fold the frame arms inward. Put the glasses down so that their lenses are facing upwards. Now you will take the ruler, and measure the width of one of the lenses in millimeters. Take a moment to write this down. Remember, the width of your lenses will run left to right, not top to bottom.

Now you will use the ruler to measure the bridge width of your glasses. This is the open space between the two lenses which spans across your nose. Measure from the inside of one lens to the inside of the other. Again, write this down in millimeters. Make sure to note that this is your bridge width.

Next, you will measure the length of the frame arms–use the ruler to find the length of the very tip of one arm all the way up to where its hinge connects with the frame of your glasses. Write the arm length down in millimeters. Finally, you will measure the frame width, which should not include the bulk of the frame hinges, but just the width of the frames themselves.
